Till date, the Republic of Benin has not recorded any direct terrorist attack .However it remains vulnerable due to porous borders, regional instability, and the terror activities of both Boko Haram and AQIM.
What is the Country doing about Terrorism ?
The President of the Republic of Benin, Mr. Boni Yayi pledged to send 800 soldiers to fight alongside Nigerian troops in the war against terrorism. It is also watching and monitoring movements along it’s border.
